I’m excited to announce that I have partnered with Inspiration Through Art, a non-profit organization with a 
focus on providing complimentary photo sessions to children that suffer with serious illnesses. ITA serves children ages infant through twenty-one (21) and also families of children that have passed with the last three (3) years. Additional information available at http://inspirationthroughart.org
If you would like to contribute to this organization, they are accepting donations.
I am also interviewing for assistants that would like to help me with ITA sessions, you do not have to be a photographer to assist me however, I will carefully screen applicants due to the sensitive nature of the sessions. Sessions can be very emotional. In addition, my health and the health of my assistant are important to the care of the child. Some children cannot be exposed to colds etc…..
If you know of any families that could benefit from this service, please have them contact me. The service is available to children in their homes, in the hospital or other care facilities such as rehabs or hospice.
I am also offering a free session to our seasoned loved ones ages 60 and above in Cedar Hill, Lancaster, Duncanville, Desoto, Red Oak, Oak Cliff, Pleasant Groove and greater Dallas areas. The service is available to those who have serious illness or are in long term care facilities such as nursing homes. The services for persons ages 60 and above is NOT associated with ITA but is a service offered as a way of giving back to the community.
This list is not all inclusive but will give you an idea of the type of illnesses that are applicable for ITA sessions:
Any child or young person (Infant-21) that is currently fighting or has fought or suffers from any of the following: Autism, Alopecia, AIDS, Bell’s Palsy, Cancer,Chiari Malformation,Cystic Fibrosis, Cerebral Palsy, CHD, Childhood Stroke, Servere Diabetes, Down Syndrome, HIV, Immune System disorders and diseases, Kidney Disease, Muscular Dystrophy, Neurocutaneous Syndromes, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Sickle Cell Anemia, Spina Bifida, Tay-Sachs Disease, and other serious childhood illnesses and life altering disabilites. (Don’t worry if your child’s illness is not listed, this is just a basic list)
